Leading Proptech Investors from JLL Spark and PSP Growth join CRETI Venture Board

New York, NY — The Center for Real Estate Technology & Innovation (creti.org) today announced Kitty Sullivan, Principal at JLLSpark, and Momei Qu, Managing Director and Partner at PSP Growth, have been elected to the CRETI venture capital board of directors. Kitty and Momei will bring decades of experience in corporate leadership, innovation, and a long track record of real estate technology venture capital.

Kitty and Momei have become amongst the world’s most active investors in early and late-stage companies in real estate technology and the built world.

“As thoughtful and passionate leaders, Kitty and Momei have helped bring cutting-edge technologies and innovative proptech solutions to some of the most urgent and complex challenges,” said Ashkan Zandieh, CRETI’s founder and co-chair. “Their voice and vision will help CRETI and the greater entrepreneurial community continue to make positive strides.”

“I'm honored to join CRETI's venture board and excited about the opportunity to collaborate with thought leaders across the CRE industry,” said Kitty Sullivan. “Although there has been a proliferation of innovation in this sector, proptech is still in early innings, and I look forward to partnering with the CRETI community to drive built world transformation.”

Kitty is an investor with JLL Spark, a strategic venture fund that invests in early-stage real estate technology companies. Prior to JLL Spark, she was chief-of-staff at carpooling startup Scoop, a growth strategy leader at LinkedIn, and a consultant at Bain & Company and The Monitor Group. She is passionate about mentoring and collaborating with startups of all sizes on strategy, business ops, and growth. She has a B.A. from Bowdoin College and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

“I am thrilled to join CRETI’s venture board and contribute in driving the adoption of technology in real estate,” said Momei Qu. “PSP continues to be very bullish on proptech, and we look forward to becoming even more connected with founders, investors, and thought leaders in the space who are equally excited about the intersection of the physical and digital worlds.”

Momei Qu is a Managing Director of PSP Growth, the venture and growth equity arm of PSP Partners. Prior to joining PSP Growth in 2018, she was an investor at two other venture capital firms: Baird Capital and Independence Equity. Prior to investing, Momei was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. She earned a BS in Computer Engineering and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the Board of The Goldie Initiative, an organization dedicated to elevating the careers of high-potential women in commercial real estate.
